A Nice Day...

Some days are just "doggone" perfect and yesterday was one such day. Vrush and me caught up yesterday and it was major fun...filled with all kidas and masti.....typical my kinda day:D!!!! So we went to the two relatively new malls in Pune that I hadnt seen, Pune Central and Gold Adlabs. The crowd at Gold Adlabs situated at KalyaniNagar was awesome....happening and it has all the eating joints possible. So we had burgers and stuff at KFC...which I must say is competition to MacDonalds, which by the way is situated right opposite!!! Then we decided to pay a visit to the icecream joint, just like that..;) where we had happened to meet two of our classmates. So it was like a reunion kinds and we were discussing about what exactly they were doing and what have they been upto and exchanging future plans:p!! We also were laughing on the fact that instead of asking for floppies, or telling to do advance booking of printers, or asking which program was stored on which comp on which drive and on which folder and the good old profs , we were talking about each others lives and further plans. Man....but what days they were!! All said and done.... we have really haunted the corridors of our enginnering college:D!!
Then we landed up at Pune Central where the "War of DJs" contest was being held and it was one rocking contest with DJ Kawas as the judge. Happening numbers like "Woh Lamhe", "Dus Bahaane", "Teri Toh", "Welcome To the Jungle" were played and one couldnt help but sway to the tunes. The crowd was supportive to a great extent and there were many cute faces there and some real "loo"ny coincidences too which I think Vrush would like to enlighten us about...;) I got a smart kurta too...i have been shoppin a lot:o...but no complaints:p!!
So all in all had a nice time with typical comments and felt nice to unwind like the old times.

P.S: Ill be taking a temporary break from blogging for sometime now....dunno how long....cos loads of work is lined up before me and plus its a new beginning....So adios till then!!!

Nasha....

Everyone experiences a feeling of high once a while. The ways one experience the high feeling can be entirely different, I dont want to go into those details. All I can say is a high feeling is experienced when one goes into a different state, a state away from the real world, you go into the state of temporary well-being. You think of all the things you ever wanted, imagine that you are actually experiencing them, and albeit...you are in a state of happiness. A feeling of ecstasy rushes through you and its like you are elated for anything and everything or maybe for nothing at all.
I was watching the movie "Sharaabi" today and I watch it for the song " Log Kehte Hain..." The lyrics of the song are amazing and Kishoreda's voice blends with Big B's portryal in that song so much that its very hard to separate the singer and the actor. Its like the song was meant to be sung by the former and enacted by the latter. And the sentence in the song which has always caught my attention is "Nashe Mein Kaun Nahi Hai Mujhe Batao Zara....", it is true weirdly.

Welcome Breaks......

Time has just flown by the fast few days. At last I felt that I got time to breathe and got to do some things that I have been thinking for sometime now or things that I was doing after ages. Short breaks are always welcome as they allow you to unwind, reinvent yourself and most of all gives us sometime off from the normal hectic and monotonous routines that each of us lead.
So the first thing I did was to pack my bags and come to Pune. Got to surf on my comp after such a long time and logon to YM anytime:p!! And that apart, my cousins also landed up from Delhi and its been a rollicking time so far. Shopping, eating, sleeping, playing are some of the activities forming my routine the past few days. Plus the added bonus of the amazing weather in the form of rains happened to be a reason in itself to celebrate and I landed up playing badminton in the rains like every year!!
Any form of break charters a change, be it temporary or permanent. And there are some choices that each of us makes during a change. Soem changes turn out to be effective, some not that much but what is important is to keep growing during each changing process and keep learning constantly. I know that there quite a few changes lined up ahead of me after this break and I am prepared for it..:-)
And the welcome break also brought about a change in blog template!! Not bad, eh??

Farewell............

Last day at office.. a day of mixed feelings. The moment I entered the office in the morning, everyone was surprised to see me because they thought that I would be coming just for the second half of the day. The day went off smoothly....I was basically just doing the documentation work and just talking to everyone. One just has to move on in life...gets a little emotional cos the good times will always be remembered. Thank you, all the people at work, for such an amazing farewell. It really meant a lot..:-) It feels like another junction in the journey has passed,let's see what my next junction is....

AT 8.00 am:-

Tanhayi: Hi....Kaisi hai?

Me: Hmm...tu aaj subah subah kaise aa gayi? Mere paas ab time nahi hai....subah wais ehi aur pakau kaam hote hain jaise ki kaam pe jaana:p

Tanhayi: Thik hai... main baad mein aati hoon!!

Me: Fursat se aa!!

AT 1.30 pm:-

Tanhayi: Kya kar rahi hai? Mujhse baatein karegi?

Me: Nahin yaar..lunch ke baad kiske paas time hota hai...bahut kaam hai..sona hai!!
Tu jaa abhi!!

AT 7.00 pm:-

Tanhayi: Toh kaam hogaya lagta hai? Ab main kuch bolu?

Me: Abhi tho kaam se chooti hoon..thodi tho shanti de...thode time ke baad aa na pls!!

AT 11.00 pm:-

Tanhayi: Kaisa tha aaj ka din? Bahut thak gayi?

Me: Thode der akele chod mujhe...main tanhayi mein rehna chahti hoon ab..:-)
