Nasha....

Everyone experiences a feeling of high once a while. The ways one experience the high feeling can be entirely different, I dont want to go into those details. All I can say is a high feeling is experienced when one goes into a different state, a state away from the real world, you go into the state of temporary well-being. You think of all the things you ever wanted, imagine that you are actually experiencing them, and albeit...you are in a state of happiness. A feeling of ecstasy rushes through you and its like you are elated for anything and everything or maybe for nothing at all.
I was watching the movie "Sharaabi" today and I watch it for the song " Log Kehte Hain..." The lyrics of the song are amazing and Kishoreda's voice blends with Big B's portryal in that song so much that its very hard to separate the singer and the actor. Its like the song was meant to be sung by the former and enacted by the latter. And the sentence in the song which has always caught my attention is "Nashe Mein Kaun Nahi Hai Mujhe Batao Zara....", it is true weirdly.

So here goes the lyrics...

Log Kehte Hain Maein Sharaabi Hoon
Tumne Bhi Shaayad Yehi Soch Liya Haan ...
Log Kehte Hain Maein Sharaabi Hoon

Kisipe Husn Ka Guroor Jawaani Ka Nasha
Kisike Dil Pe Mohabbat Ki Ravaani Ka Nasha
Kisiko Dekhke Saanson Se Ubharta Hai Nasha
Bina Piye Bhi Kahin Had Se Guzarta Hai Nasha
Nashe Mein Kaun Nahin Hai Mujhe Bataao Zara
Kise Hai Hosh Mere Saamne To Laao Zara

Nasha Hai Sab Pe Magar Rang Nashe Ka Hai Juda
Khili Khili Hui Subah Pe Hai Shabnam Ka Nasha
Hava Pe Khushboo Ka Badal Pe Hai Rimjhim Ka Nasha
Kahin Suroor Hai Khushiyon Ka Kahin Gham Ka Nasha
Nasha Sharaab Mein Hota To Nachti Botal
Maikade Jhoomte Paimaanon Mein Hoti Hulchul
Nasha Sharaab Mein Hota To Naachti Botal
Nashe Mein Kaun Nahin Hai Mujhe Bataao Zara
Log Kehte Hain Maein Sharaabi Hoon...
