Terrorism Rises Again....

Terrorism is winning. I am not saying this because of what happened in US or more recently in London and Egypt or for that matter what continues to happen in the rest of the world but because of the neverending violence that seems to have been unleashed for quite sometime now. The victory of these terrorist activities is not that they are able to pass through tight security but it is the impact that they leave which leads to indiscriminate violence spreading around. It creates an inherent response from the opposite side which leads to Newton's third law again being proven correct that "To every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction" and this ensures that terrorism stays alive. Playing with human sentiments is what these terrorists aim at. They commit violence in such a way that deliberately attracts excessive violence and sets in a chain of escalating brutality. Be it the attack on the Twin Towers or Ayodhya or Akshardham, this is exactly what happened. But its natural that people will respond as they have because what you get is what you'll give back. So where is the end to this then? Will it ever stop? Will the lives of innocent be spared? Will peace ever prevail? As long as these questions remain unanswered, there is really nothing else to do but wait for the next terrorist act to strike and pray that we have the strength to withstand it.
