Expectation = Expect + Station

Expectations are something which we all have in our lives with respect to someone or something in our own extents. Though we know that "expectations lead to disappointments" and they should be in a controlled manner but each of us in our own unique manners do expect something or the other.

I was imagining a hypothetical railway station and was trying to relate expectations to a station!!! And if I tend to go abstract at a certain point in the post then do bear with me..:p!!

Now here the passenger is the mind.

Before going to book a ticket he sincerely hopes that he gets a confirmed ticket. But then it can turn out that hes in the waiting list or RAC. So either he'll have to look for another train to reach the same destination or think of travelling on another date. Expecting to get a confirmed ticket is a hope or a positive attitude. But thinking about the other possible outcomes is not negative attitude, its just thinking practically.

The guard is destiny.

Irrespective of whichever class a passenger is travelling in, AC or non-AC, reserved or unreserved, it requires the guard to wave the green flag for the train to move. Inspite of having all the requisites for a proper journey there can be chances that the train may be delayed due to whatever reasons. And finally the guard does play an important rule in the final stages....or simply you could term it as last-minute luck.

And then there are the umpteen weighing machines in this station to remind you that never be weighed down by expectations. Expectations are always gonna be there in some form or the other, all that matters is giving one's best shot.

Like i said expect anything in this station...;)
