Interestingly poised match...
India look to be on the brink of a victory in the first test going on in Mohali, but all this depends on how much lead do they allow Pak to take cos otherwise this is surely gonna end in a draw. The highlights of this match have surely been Sehwag's dynamic knock, L.Balaji's amazing comeback and of course, Kumble's prize wickets. Tendulkar played a slow knock to reach his 94 but still the excitement for him to surpass Gavaskar's record is very much there..:-) I am keeping my fingers crossed on that for sure..:D!!!
Well, Kaneria has been a find for the Pak but his consistency is yet to be seen. Anyways our funda has always been..jo bhi aaye dho daalo...:D!!! So try ur best India...:-)!!
From the game of whites its time to move on to the game of black and white. Looks like Kasparov is retiring..thats like some news!!! Cos ever since i remember the two names i have ever heard in chess have been Kasparov and our reliable V.Anand. Looks like the Linares chess tournament has been a tale of twists and turns with Anand losing out on his game and Kasparov losing his game too and citing that there are no more goals to achieve in chess and all this combined with the problems of "unified tension" in the World Championships and FIDE failing to take any action on it. But anyways if the news of Kasparov retiring stands ground..then hats off to this legend for sure.......The show goes on..........
